Life After Death
Life After Death
Grief sucks.
Feeling understood helps.
Join us for good conversation, secular support, and coffee & snacks.
The What
Life After Death is a secular grief support community. Grief sucks, and we know how you feel.
Some meetings offer specific activities, and some offer space and time to talk, share, and connect with others experiencing grief & loss. LAD is not therapy-- we are here to support each other, but we are not professionals, and we are not meant to replace professional help.
"You have one long, messy, weird, beautiful life. People come in and out of it, live and die, and affect us in enormous-- or not so enormous-- ways. Your [person's] death is now a piece of you... a new dent on the side of the strange, misshapen thing that is your life."
--Kate Spencer,

Grieving our losses together. No platitudes allowed.
Our group is secular, but everyone is welcome-- no matter how you identify. LAD provides a space for anyone to deal with our grief without platitudes about better places.
We are the life after death.
