One of TLH's core tenets is sustainability― we love our city and its people, and we want to see it thrive. As such, we volunteer and participate in activism efforts in order to support the social, environmental, and financial sustainability of Lexington.

For some of our events, we get together for proactive efforts like working in community gardens, collecting supplies for local organizations that work directly with people in need, and teaming up for charity walks. For others, we work reactively when we see a need― like writing to our politicians about our needs as a community or participating in direct action to show our leaders how their decisions impact us.
